Stressin’. So many things to do and so little time.

I was hoping my last days here wouldn’t be so hectic, but it’s kind of crazy. Tonight I’m headed out to hear Josh McDowell speak (More Than A Carpenter) on apologetics with Rajed, Pastor Ed and Joel, and then right after that it’s Chili’s with Jinn and Jovie.

Then tomorrow morning, I’m getting a filling at the dentist’s, then going school shopping with dad. And I need to buy presents for people’s late birthdays, and then I need to go to JoAnn’s fabric to make Joel’s goodbye gift (which I’m super excited to make!) Then mom wants to hang out and do something I think, or we might just scrub the house clean for the goodbye party/Bible study on Tuesday?

Then Tuesday morning it’s buying food for the party and other such goodies, getting the house ready and getting myself ready for the party! Planning on spending $100 on food. Pretty excited for the Bible study that night, which Rajed is going to lead again! I asked him to cater his message to my friends who don’t usually go to church. I’m really praying that some of my friend’s hearts get opened up at least a teeny bit, if not changed at all!

Then Wednesday.. is my last day. I’m going to finish up buying things, shipping stuff, etc. Then I’m going to have a last night of eating out with everyone.. I’m sad. I don’t even want to think about it at this point.

Then Thursday is the big day! A 12-hour flight for a 3-hour flight from San Diego, CA to Haviland, KS. Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into? Got prayed over today at church by the pastors and some of the elders, which I very much appreciated. I’m happy to know that there are those who think of me and pray for my future and education.

Even though there are only a few more days left until I leave, I feel like it’s taking a lifetime. I don’t want to leave, but I want to start my real life already. I want to change and be better, because when I look in the mirror, I don’t see the kind of person I’m meant to be just yet.

I could write a book right now on everything that is on my mind, but I need to leave and get ready for the apologetics session! Can’t miss it, gonna go with the novio and little brother and pastor. A bit in a sad mood, but I’m quite excited for this. :)

Everyone meet my little sister Alyssa Agbuya. :) Born August 1, 2011. I pray that blessings will go on this little one’s life and that she grows into a woman of God one day, seeking Christ and pursuing Him all the days of her life. I really pray for this.

Cutest baby ever. She kept dogging me when she first met me, but then started smiling and cooing when I sang to her. Yes, my voice is a baby whisperer.
